Companies don’t hire people without first checking their references. You shouldn’t work with someone without checking their references either. This is what some of my clients have said about me recently here.

I met Marc at the Calgary Teacher’s Convention in 2007.  I was immediately impressed that he had worked for several years as a teacher and that he was fully bilingual.  I asked him if he could explain to me the steps in buying a house as I had never done it before.  Marc put me in contact with a mortgage broker and he met with my husband and I on several occasions to explain what we needed to know and do in order to purchase a house.

When we finally got up the courage to go and look Marc patiently took us to see over 20 different houses.  Each time we went looking he was able to refine our search.  He carefully listened to our likes and dislikes and helped to point us in the right direction.  When we decided to make our offer, Marc was savvy enough to ensure that negotiations did not last too long.  What impressed me the most about working with Marc is that he is an ethical person in all of his dealings. 

We are now happily in our first home and couldn’t be more content.
